Two years ago, I embarked on a journey to create New Warfare, a dream project that would combine my love for modern multiplayer FPS games with my desire to create something truly unique.

The journey has been far from easy. Switching engines meant starting over in many ways—relearning tools, workflows, and even how I approached game development. But I threw myself into it, spending countless late nights and full days immersed in code, troubleshooting bugs, and perfecting every detail. There were times when I worked through the night, fueled by coffee and determination, chasing that elusive moment where everything just clicks. It’s been a marathon of dedication, but I wouldn’t have it any other way.

One of the most exciting parts of the development process has been creating a visual style that sets New Warfare apart from other FPS titles. I wanted to bring a fresh look to the genre, so I chose to blend low-mid poly art with vibrant, stylized colors. The result is a unique combination that feels both modern and artistic—a game that stands out visually while maintaining that gritty, tactical atmosphere typical of FPS games.

The low-mid poly approach gives New Warfare a distinctive aesthetic, with simplified, angular models that still feel detailed and immersive. This art style allows for smooth performance while still delivering the depth and atmosphere players expect from a modern shooter. Even now, I’m still chasing perfection, especially when it comes to gunplay and movement. These elements are the core of any great FPS, and I’m constantly tweaking and refining to make them feel just right. I want every shot, every step, every movement to feel natural, responsive, and satisfying. It’s a process that never really ends, but that’s part of the beauty of game development—it’s always evolving.

It’s a style that blends the best of both worlds—creating a visual experience that’s both bold and functional, striking the perfect balance between artistic flair and gameplay-focused design.
